Egg on Toast

I bought a basil plant yesterday at the grocery store and I’m determined to keep it alive for the rest of the year.  We’ll see how that goes, my history with plants isn’t very great.
I decided to make one of my favourite breakfasts of eggs on toast, since I had fresh basil.  I know, it doesn’t require rocket science, but just in case you’re looking for a new way to spice up the classic breakfast, here’s what you need:

1 egg
3 basil leaves (or dried basil)
2 cherry tomatoes or 2 tomato slices
cheddar cheese

1. Put your toast in the toaster oven with a few slices of cheese
2. Cook your egg as desired. I add the cherry tomato slices to the undercooked side of the egg so they don’t slide around everywhere.
3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika
4. Add to the toast and put some basil on top
