Summer Morning Smoothie

This smoothie is light, flavourful and full of nutrients. I used coconut milk, because, well, I love it.  Coconut milk is such a great replacement for regular milk; it’s got a light, sweet flavour, adds creaminess to recipes, and is so healthy. Coconut often gets a bit of a bad rap because it’s so high in fat, but the specific fat in coconut milk is really beneficial in helping the body fight off disease.  That being said, as with everything, moderation is the key! It’s delicious in smoothies, though, so I use it when I can.IMG_6238

Summer Morning Smoothie
Rich and creamy, this fruity smoothie is full of nutrients and healthy fats.

  1. 1/2 cup coconut milk
  2. 1/4 cup almond milk
  3. 1 ripe banana
  4. 1 cup frozen peaches
  5. 1/2 tsp spirulina powder
  6. 1 tsp maca powder
  7. 1 tsp Magsmart (you can leave this out, but check out it's benefits in the link! It helps with cramping muscles and sleep)
  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until creamy
